In Germany, approximately 2.4 million Corona have been made according to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) so far, laboratory tests.

This relates to the period up to and including week 17 of this year, said RKI President Lothar Wieler in Berlin. Approximately 7.2 percent of the Tests were positive.

With the calendar week 18, the laboratory capacities were about 142,000 per day, it said, citing data from 133 laboratories.
