  • Kate Beckinsale, 47, just showed off her toned abs while dancing in her kitchen.
  • Though the actress looks like she’s having a great time, her cat is not impressed.
  • Kate works out five to six days a week and doesn’t consume caffeine or alcohol.

Raise your hand if you like to bust a move in your kitchen! Turns out, Kate Beckinsale does, too.

The actress, 47, just shared a video on Instagram of herself dancing in her (gorgeous) kitchen while her sweater-wearing cat looks incredibly unimpressed. “Trying to hype Willow up about her winter woolly has been low yield so far,” she wrote in the caption.

In the video, Kate lip syncs and dances along to Billy Joel’s “Uptown Girl” while wearing a Nike sports bra and slouchy sweats. Apparently she does this pretty often, because Willow just sits there, swishing her tail, while wearing a bright pink fluffy sweater and looking like she’d rather be anywhere else.

The video is hilarious and, while commenters largely focused on Willow’s lack of enthusiasm-slash-supreme disdain at being forced to wear a sweater, it’s kind of hard to miss the fact that Kate’s abs are super toned.

The Widow star didn’t get those abs by accident. She previously told Women’s Health that she works out five to six days a week. I wake up, eat something, and go straight to the gym,” she says. “Then, if I’m going to do cardio I’ll do it later on in the day.”

But, while Kate exercises for about an hour a day, she told Women’s Health UK that she focuses on what it can do for her mind, not her body. “Exercise is almost more important to me mood-wise,” she said. “The other aspects feel like a great side effect.”

Her actual workout, according to the magazine, features eight compound exercises that each work two muscle groups simultaneously. For example, she’ll do a biceps curl as she squats, or sit-ups with combination punches. She’ll follow that with cardio intervals, and then add heavier weights or a band to her previous exercises.

Kate also avoids things like caffeine and alcohol. “If I ate too much dark chocolate, it would be like someone else taking cocaine,” she told Women’s Health UK. “I’m very connected to my body–if I’m going to experience stress, I’m probably going to experience it physically. So, it’s usually a good idea for me to do something physical to get rid of it.”

Want to get abs like Kate? Her trainer Gunnar Peterson shared a workout with Women’s Health that’s inspired by his famous client—and it’s just 15 minutes. The exercise routine features a series of squats, supermans, push-ups, and bicycle crunches to work your butt and core.

Pissed off-looking cat, not included.
