In the video, which is set to Van’s song “Being a Girl,” the Bruised star and musician are shown from behind, chilling in their underwear while looking out over a balcony. Halle is topless and shakes her butt in time to the music, while Van just hangs out and probably feels beyond thrilled to be standing next to his special lady.

That’s not ~all~ Halle and Van have been up to. The John Wick 3 actress also shared a photo dump of the two of them in matching heart PJs, with a sweet message for the world. “To all the Valentines who may be struggling to get it right…I feel you, but never give up and NEVER SETTLE for less than what makes your heart sing!” she wrote. “No matter what they say or what they call you. Halle spilled her quarantine workout secrets with Women’s Health back in May, and her go-to exercises are surprisingly doable—if, of course, you’re prepared to sweat.

To do a Halle workout (courtesy of her trainer, Peter Lee Thomas), you just need 20 minutes—not a typo! “If anything, I’ve learned that a 20-minute workout can totally knock you on your butt,” Halle wrote. “In fact, they’re often even harder than longer ones. I know that when Peter creates quick programs for me, I’m going to have to get in the zone and push—these short sessions are truly fast and dirty.”

Okay, so what’s in this magical workout? Halle said she’ll usually do circuits of five or six exercises and “churn through one after another,” going as hard as she can for a certain amount of time (so she doesn’t have to count reps.)

Halle and Peter also mix things up—sometimes they do bodyweight moves; other times they’ll use things like ankle weights. Circuits definitely have plenty of butt-toning moves in the mix, like squats, reverse lunges, and plié squats.

“By the time I’ve finished, I’m dripping, I’m breathing crazy heavy, and I feel like I’ve not only worked all of my different muscles, but like I’ve also just done some serious cardio,” she said.

Halle also told Women’s Health that she’s “damn proud” of her toned back, pointing out that she started doing two workouts a week, just dedicated to her back. In the mix: dumbbell flies, row variations, and full body resistance loop exercises.
