Margot Robbie Says Reformer Pilates Is Her Favourite Form Of Exercise

Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood star Margot Robbie is just like us. Apart from being an Academy Award nominee, calling Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio co-stars and being a Chanel ambassador, that is.

While speaking to The Telegraph, the Australian actress opened up about her food and exercise habits, saying that balancing having fun with staying healthy is key.

“I love food, I love wine and I love having a good time with my friends. But I also don’t love the feeling of knowing that I don’t look my best,” the 29-year-old said.

As with us all, Margot said she “[walks] the line between having as much fun as possible and continuing to take care of myself.”

“Eating well and exercise need to be prevalent in my life so that I can feel my best, but I don’t want to dwell on it too much,” she explained.

As far as exercise goes, Margot says she enjoys being active in her day to day life – “I like to play tennis, run around the park or do a dance class with girlfriends” – but says that above all else, reformer pilates is her go-to workout.

“If I’m making a conscious effort to exercise, I work with a Pilates trainer on a reformer machine, and that suits me and my body best,” she told The Telegraph.

Previously, in an interview with Emirates WomanMargot said she gets “miserable” if she tries to limit herself too much with food. “I’m not good at doing moderation,” she said. “I get miserable if I don’t eat. I can’t just have a salad every day and a half a glass of wine every second day. I can’t do it.”

Same Margot, same. Now to book that reformer class and a chill a glass of rosé for afterwards to celebrate.
