Flying High! Mario Lopez Takes Pregnant Wife Courtney and Their Kids to Dumbo Premiere
Mario Lopez doesn’t need a magic feather to feel like he’s soaring — he’s got his family.
The Extra host took his entire brood to Monday’s world premiere of Dumbo, Disney’s newest live-action offering from Tim Burton that stars Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Danny Devito, Eva Green, Alan Arkin and Nico Parker.
Lopez, his pregnant wife Courtney and their two children — Dominic “Nico” Luciano, 5½, and Gia Francesca, 8½ — walked the red carpet at the El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles, posing happily for photos on the carpet together.
Gia sported a ruffled white top and cheetah-print skirt for the event, while Nico went casual in a gray pullover sweater, black pants and sneakers to match Lopez, 45.
Courtney opted for an all-black ensemble that showed off her growing baby bump, which her husband cradled proudly for a few photos.

Dumbo Flies Again! Everything We Know About Tim Burton’s Live-Action Remake
In January, the couple revealed that they’re expecting in adorable Instagram posts. “Oh BABY!! Here we go again …?? #LopezPartyOfFive #DebutingInJuly,” the mom-to-be, 36, captioned a photo series of the family, showing off their excitement — and her baby bump.
Lopez opened up to PEOPLE following their sweet announcement, revealing they thought a third child “wasn’t meant to be” or wasn’t “part of God’s plan” if they didn’t conceive in 2018 — but it ended up being “a Christmas miracle.”
As the family looks forward to their newest addition arriving in July, the Saved by the Bell alum revealed that Nico and Gia have some strong opinions about their sibling-to-be.
“At first they were like, ‘Wait, what?’ They couldn’t understand. It took a second for it to register,” he joked. “My daughter got very dramatic. She was like, ‘If I have another brother, I’m telling you right now, I’m moving to Texas!’ ”
On the other hand, Nico is rooting for a boy — but the baby’s sex doesn’t make a difference to Lopez or his wife, who want to be surprised.
“We’ve waited for all the kids, [so] it’s going to be a surprise. We’re pretty old school, you know, it being the tie-breaker,” he explains. “It doesn’t matter, to be honest, as long as it’s healthy. We’re just very excited. The gender reveal will be when it’s born!”
And despite Courtney’s initial fears of not wanting “anyone thinking she was getting fat,” Lopez raved of his wife, “I love when she is pregnant. I think she looks beautiful and wears pregnancy well. I love my wife while she’s pregnant, she looks great.”
Dumbo flies into theaters on March 29.
