All of us are trying our best as parents. When it comes to buying toys for our kids, even if we want to give them the world, we try to find what fits into our budgets, what will enrich their lives, and what won’t wind up making them spoiled brats. This means different things for different people, though.

With no knowledge otherwise, we have to assume that the rich and famous are using the same criteria when stocking their kids’ nurseries and playrooms (in their multiple homes). It’s just that their toy budgets are a whole lot different from ours. We’ve noticed this in brief glimpses during reality shows, and in much more detail in the various social media posts certain Kardashian-Jenner moms share on their kids’ birthdays. From life-size Trolls to custom kiddie cars to play houses that look bigger than our apartments, these children are living it up.

Do we wish we could build an entire pirate ship in our own backyard? Of course. Do we think that money would be better spent feeding the hungry? Probably! At the same time, we really don’t begrudge Blue Ivy her rumored $80,000 diamond-encrusted Barbie. There’s no reason Suri Cruise shouldn’t have had her own Victorian retreat from the paparazzi. And we’re sure some tech tycoon’s son absolutely deserves to have his very own video arcade in the basement. Because if we had the cash, we’d do the same.

Perusing this gallery is much like gazing at the photos of our favorite stars’ homes when they go on the market. They take us to that same fantasy that is so far out of our reach as to be pure entertainment instead of envy. We’re online window shopping.

Then again, maybe some of these toys are in your budget. In which case, please do click through and make your purchases, and tell ’em we sent you!
