Why Jessica Biel 'Encouraged' Justin Timberlake to Publicly Apologize to Her for His Photo Scandal
Jessica Biel was a big force behind her husband Justin Timberlake’s public statement last week, when he apologized to her for photos that came out of him last month holding hands with his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright, Us Weekly reports. She pushed him to post it because no, she was absolutely not okay with the scandal, although their marriage will survive it.
“Jessica encouraged Justin to put out his statement on Instagram because she felt embarrassed by his actions and wanted him to take accountability,” a source told the outlet.
A source explained that “Jessica was very upset and embarrassed by Justin’s behavior. [But] they are still united, very much together and strong.”
Wainwright’s rep denied any affair was happening between her and Timberlake when the photos initially came out. Timberlake, in his Instagram statement last week, reiterated that.
