“Today I cleared 50 entire lists and countless extra items were purchased from lovely people just passing through,” she tweeted on Aug. 24. “Will do more this week and would love to focus on struggling districts and special needs. Please keep posting in this thread!”

“Riley helped me create a space that SHE feels excited about,” Mesnick wrote in her post, detailing what went into the space. “We’ve got a table for her to do her work, bins & buckets for all of her supplies, a little ‘library’ & couch for silent reading, a row of squishies to pull from as a ‘stress reliever,’ puzzles, learning games & more!”
