Where Is Jenelle and David's Daughter Ensley Amid CPS Investigation?
None of Jenelle Evans’ children are with the former Teen Mom 2 star as child protective services continues to investigate her and her husband, David Eason, Us Weekly can confirm.
A source tells Us that Evans and Eason’s 2-year-old daughter Ensley is currently with his mother. Eason’s daughter from a previous relationship, Maryssa, is also with her grandmother.
Us confirmed on Monday, May 13, that Evans’ sons, Jace, 9, and Kaiser, 4, are not staying at the couple’s home after Eason made headlines for killing his wife’s dog.
According to several sources, Kaiser, whom Evans shares with ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith, was picked up by CPS from school on Friday, May 10. Kaiser is currently staying with his father’s mother, Doris.
Jace, meanwhile, is with the former MTV’s star’s mother, Barbara Evans. (Barbara has had custody of her daughter’s eldest son for the majority of his life.)
“Barbara and Jenelle are fighting,” the source told Us at the time. “They aren’t speaking. Jenelle has been very emotional. Barbara is not letting Jenelle see Jace.”
Evans, who was fired from Teen Mom 2 amid backlash from Eason’s violent actions towards her dog, spoke exclusively to Us Weekly about fighting for her children.
“Kaiser was taken away Friday without my consent, before Mother’s Day, and I have been in touch with my lawyer pertaining this matter,” Evans told Us on Monday. “CPS told Doris to take Kaiser without my consent and still have no legal paperwork signed by the judge stating my kids are taken from me.”
She added: “I’ve been fighting to get my son back, as they went behind my back and removed him without my consent.”
On Tuesday, May 14, Evans declared that she was “so sick of this drama” via Facebook. “Everyone wants a piece of my life… like why tho?” she wrote.
As far as Evans’ marriage to Eason, she told Us that the pair are trying to heal their relationship. “We are going to start going to marriage counseling because he feels as if we both need it,” she explained. “I completely agree. Not considering divorce unless he refuses counseling with me.”
