Diane Kruger Wishes Norman Reedus ‘Looked at’ Her How He Looks at Daughter
Bonding with baby! Diane Kruger and Norman Reedus welcomed their first child together in November 2018 — and the Walking Dead star is clearly smitten.
“He just looks at her with unconditional love,” the Welcome to Marwen star, 42, told Us Weekly of the father-daughter pair at the Chanel Tribeca Film Festival Artists Dinner on Monday, April 29. “I wish he looked at me like that! … He’s just very great with her.”
Not only that, but the actor’s 19-year-old son, Mingus, who he shares with his ex-girlfriend, Helena Christensen, is a “great” big brother to the little one.
“19 years is a big gap, so he’s stepping up to be this protective big brother,” Kruger told Us. She went on to say that she and the Boondock Saints actor won’t be adding any more babies to their brood. “I’m done!” the model said. “I think our family is pretty much complete.”
The couple’s daughter is “not really girly” so far, the National Treasure actress added. “It’s fun to have a girl, I will say, although … she’s more of a dude.”
Kruger opened up in January about why she waited to have children until later on in life. “I didn’t think I wanted children for a long time,” she told PorterEdit at the time. “I was too selfish. But by the time I got to about 35, I thought, yes, I probably do want one. But then you have to wait for the right person to come along.”
She added of her boyfriend: “He’s so calm, and he teaches me a lot because he’s done it before. There’s definitely something to be said for being with someone who is doing it for the second time.”
Reedus and Kruger met while costarring in Sky in 2015 and were spotted out as a couple a year later.
