'Bachelor' Baby! Jacinda Gugliemino Pregnant After Miscarriage
Oh, baby! Jacinda Gugliemino announced that she is pregnant and expecting her first child after suffering a miscarriage.
“Due November 2nd,” the Bachelor Australia alum wrote on Instagram on Wednesday, May 15. “#knockedup.” She tagged her boyfriend, Callum Sauer, in the social media upload.
The former TV personality shared two black-and-white photos, showing off her baby-to-be’s tiny tennis shoes and a baby bump mirror selfie. Gugliemino’s budding belly was on full display in a knotted tee.
The pregnant star and her boyfriend debuted their relationship in January 2017. This January, the former reality star revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage two months prior after finding out she and Sauer had a baby girl on the way.
“We found out she had trisomy 18,” Gugliemino wrote on Instagram at the time. “It meant she would be born tiny and lucky to live past 30 days, 1 year or at best, 10 years old. As it turned out, the chance of having a baby with this chromosome defect is .5%. I actually laughed at this. I was shocked. It was like some weird lottery and we sadly won it. We had more tests and those next few days were a blur knowing we would soon have to make a decision on what to do.”
She added: “Sadly, she made it for us — her heart stopped beating. I knew before the doctors did, I felt it. A day later, I had the op to remove her. A week later, we were at this incredible wedding, trying to move on and surround ourselves with friends. We put on smiles and we really enjoyed the day, but the experience wasn’t far from our minds. We already felt like parents.”
In her emotional post, Gugliemino said they had planned to name their daughter Faith.
The former reality star appeared on season 3 of The Bachelor Australia in 2015 alongside Sam Woods.
