As of Thursday morning, the novel coronavirus has infected more than 60,465,801 people across 191 countries and territories, resulting in at least 1,422,510 deaths. In the U.S., all 50 states plus the District of Columbia have reported confirmed cases of COVID-19, tallying more than 12,777,753 illnesses and at least 262,266 deaths.

4. Illinois: 685,467 cases
5. New York: 613,266 cases
6. Georgia: 457,909 cases

8. Ohio: 382,743 cases
9. Michigan: 352,433 cases
10. Tennessee: 347,972 cases

1. New York: 34,388 deaths
2. Texas: 21,454 deaths
3. California: 18,984 deaths
4. Florida: 18,254 deaths
