Mom-Shamers Are After Jana Kramer Because… of a Toddler Tantrum?

Mom-shamers rile us up like nothing else. So we definitely relate to Jana Kramer, who is clapping back at the haters who came out in droves to troll her recent Instagram Story. The mom-shamers pounced on Kramer because the video showed her 3-year-old, Jolie, pitching a (very age-appropriate) fit.

“It just drives me crazy that people feel the need to comment on my pictures,” the One Tree Hill actor said on her Story. “And then it makes me upset because I’m like, I want to be able to post a temper tantrum of Jolie’s just to keep it real for the other moms out there. You’re not alone. But yet I have people trolling my page saying, ‘Well, she’s doing that because of this.’”

Kramer added, “Just stop. You don’t live in this house. You don’t know what’s going on. Please don’t tell me why my child’s acting that way. Thanks.”

Kramer — also host of the Whine Down podcast — has two children with husband Mike Caussin, a former Washington Redskins player, whom she married in 2015. They share Jolie and baby Jace, three months old. Kramer shared a screenshot of the comment that frustrated her, with her feedback: “??? You live in my house? So you think you know? No that’s right, you don’t!”

Kramer, who has suffered several pregnancy losses, also circled part of the troll’s comment: “I’m no professional, but some of Jolie’s fits may come from … jealousy. Withdrawal. Sadness. Missing her mommy.”

In the video of Jolie’s temper tantrum, Jolie sits at a table refusing to chew the food in her mouth.

“Chew it, Jolie,” Kramer implores her daughter, as Jolie shakes her head and tries not to cry. (It’s not even a huge tantrum, is what we’re saying.)

“Chew it up,” adds Caussin outside of the frame of the video.

After this incident, Kramer posted a shot on Instagram Story of her baby monitor — and a glass of wine. “There isn’t enough wine sometimes,” was her caption. Kramer also posted a photo of Jolie, with the caption: “I remember cooking in the kitchen with my momma, and now this beautiful girl calls me momma. #blessed …. but also how much you want to bet she will be throwing a threenager temper tantrum at any moment and I’ll have forgot how sweet this moment was?!?! #momlife.”

I mean, sounds pretty spot-on to me. Mom life is not for the faint of heart. So back off, shamers. Karma’s not pretty, you know.
